Interfaith - Homeless Prevention Council (formerly known as the Interfaith for the Homeless on the Lower Cape)

Interfaith - Homeless Prevention Council (formerly known as the Interfaith Council for the Homeless on the Lower Cape) assists homeless and near homeless individuals and families in the 8 towns of the Lower Cape (Chatham, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, Provincetown).

The focus is on prevention of homelessness by understanding the underlying issues and helping a client put a plan in place to address them. We provide long term, professional case management by trained and experienced staff who offer extensive counseling and guidance to those who are at risk of becoming homeless.

You can help by volunteering for one of a variety of opportunities that can be arranged to fit your availability. Volunteer opportunities include activities like fund raising projects, public relations strategy, outreach and networking, office support, special projects, handyman work, and much more
