Kayaking “We set out in our kayaks to explore the wet world around us, some days seeking out the ocean’s wind and waves, other days poking around in the quiet ponds or placid bays” From the end of May till the end of September, Newcomers and CONCH members launch on Thursday mornings into the rivers, ponds and in-lets of Chatham and surrounding costal areas.

The two hour trips, geared to the skills of novice or intermediate paddlers, may be followed by a swim and lunch. E-mails before each trip give directions, times and what to expect.
