Woodworking - A Great Hobby!

Purpose:
- Friendship among woodworkers

- Place to ask advice and help on woodworking projects

- Group Woodworkers demonstrating their skills

- Field trips / educational forums / Seminars: contractors’ days, cabinet shops, etc.

- Community Projects – build something for various organizations: Libraries, Conservation organizations, Community Centers, etc. Recipients of work pay for materials. Projects from last year(s) were:

* 12 Display Tables for the Marconi Museum
* Cabinet for Cranberry Valley Men’s Golf Group
* Bookcase for Eldridge Library, Chatham

Each project develops or emphasizes a different woodworking skill.

Monthly Meetings – first Thursday of month at 9:00 am. Or as needed depending on projects or field trips:

September 30 - organizational meeting at Steve Patzman's garage, 69 Doane Road, Harwich Port

Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May - TBD

Tools not required, only enthusiasm and interest.
